Up for auction one vintage Collector's Bear Archery Grizzly circa 1960. NOTE: I'm told this is probably a 1959, based on coin and grip laminations.
RH, 50#, 62", Serial # FG586L.
Nice maple and dark wood riser. I-beam construction. Finish very good. Inscription good. Aluminum coin. Leather grip smooth and has a few scuffs.
Facing glass dark caramel. Silkscreens good. Backing glass Pea Green. A scrape in the lower front glass 3/4" long. Will try to add a picture. Just needs a little fine sandpaper then Tru Oil. Won't affect shooting. Tips alternating black and white glass.
Original leather sideplate, but no FEATHER REST or rug. Nice little riser extra laminations between grip and leather plate. New string.
Not a common bow. Historic. Prime hunting weight and length. Collector's condition (that doesn't mean perfect).
