Border CVX-W 38lb 72" ILF Wood / Carbon Recurve limbs. NEW. 38# Extra

This listing is for a pair of Border CVX-W (carbon / wood core) 38lb 72" ILF Recurve limbs. They are new and provided with the fabric limb covers. These are super-recurve type limbs (as you can see from the profile) and as such have a distinct draw profile that provides an exceptionally smooth force at full draw. Border limbs are made in small quantities by hand in Scotland, and are are some of the very best limbs you can buy.  In particular, the CVX limbs are their top-of-the line series

These are brand new
limbs. Fitted to riser only to confirm straightness and weight. I purchased these during the pandemic last year with expectations of doing more shooting - and then never even used them. :-(
If you are looking a these you likely already realize this, but note that these limbs are intended to have a lower than normal bracing  bracing height - typically in the 6.5 - 7.75" (max). I would suggest bracing towards the upper end of this range. You will likely need a new string to achieve this - if you do, please let me know and i will include this at no additional cost.

The very high performance CVX series with the new carbon laminates and a more conventional recurve profile.  The all new carbon bow facing reduces mass and increases lateral stability! The CVX series takes limb performance to new and exciting levels. The CVX combines  the benefits of the CV  (discontinued) limb profile and adds the new recurve roll-over technology improving smoothness and stored energy levels.
